I’m Charmaine, a Gen-Y Canadian, living in Hong Kong, who’s making across the world in the field of education. I am on a self-discovering journey made possible through traveling. In the past few years, I have lived in Singapore, Quebec, Paris and currently residing in Hong Kong.
“I search, I strive, I find, and when I don’t, I keep trying.” - Charmaine Yip
People always talk about the amazing things they learnt on their abroad adventures. However, no one ever talks about the struggles. The struggles of isolation, loneliness and dealing with problems in another country all by yourself.
I’ve been lucky to travel but I’ve also experienced a lot of misfortune, and these were the stories that kept me alive. My blog is to not only share my personal stories but also to inspire others to step out of their comfort zone. If I can do it, so can you.
